Answers
1. No, the cleaning process will not hurt any of your plants or landscaping. However, there will be a high volume of water used, so delicate flowers such as roses may drop some petals, but they will not be permanently damaged.
2. No, you are not required to be home during the cleaning, but we do ask that you close and lock all doors and windows, and move any vehicles away from the work areas.
3. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Cards.
4. Yes, we ask that you move any small items or decorations away from the work area. In addition, any potted plants, seat cushions, or umbrellas should be moved. Heavier items like tables and chairs will also need to be moved, but we are happy to move those for you. During a deck staining all items normally stored on the deck will have to remain off of the surface until the staining is complete.
5. The vast majority of our jobs are completed within one day.
6. All windows will be cleaned and rinsed using the house wash, however we do not use a squeegee on them, so you may notice some water spots after the job is complete.
7. The length of time that a house will remain clean varies from house to house. As a general guideline most roofs will remain clean for about 3-4 years. Houses and driveways should stay clean for about 2-3 years. Decks should receive a general cleaning about every year or two with a maintaining coat of oil every 2-3 years.
8. Yes, all of our services are available during the winter months, except for deck restoration.
9. In most cases we are able to schedule your cleaning within one to two weeks.
10. We will use your water supply to complete the job, but in most cases it will not be enough to effect your water bill. If you would prefer, we are able to bring our own water supply to your cleaning, but there would be an additional charge for this service.
11. Yes, we can offer discounts for multiple jobs that can be done at the same time. In these cases the estimate and cleaning will be completed at the same time.
12. You can walk on your deck immediately after the staining is completed, however, if you notice a film of wet oil on the deck it is best to wait for the deck to be completely dry, as this film could be tracked into the house.
